Historik om Soldattorpet
Detta torp stod tidigare i Ljusdal och beboddes av soldaten vid Järvsö kompani nr 88 Johan August Hjelte, denna kom i tjänst som indelt Soldat vid Hälsingarna den 24 januari 1879.
Mellan mötena på Mohed försörjde han sig som kopparslagare.
Hjeltes trop skänktes 1911 av Marma sågverk till regementet, monterades ned och forslades till Gävle, där det åter timrades upp i sitt gamla skick av regementets egen personal
History about the Soldiers cottage
This cottage was originally placed in Ljusdal and was inhabited by the soldier at Järvsö company, no 88 Johan August Hjelte, who came in to service as a croft soldier at Hälsinge regiment the 24th of January 1879.
He worked as a coppersmith between the exercises at Mohed.
At 1911 Hjelte‘s cottage was donated to the regiment by Marma sawmill and it was dissembled, moved to Gävle and rebuilt to its previous state by the Regiments staff.
